What makes us different

We're not another meditation app. We're attention infrastructure for companies that make decisions with data.

Proprietary Focus Quotient

A single number (0–100) capturing energy, rest, and consistency. Boardroom-ready.

Privacy by design

Minimum cohort of 5 people. No keyboard, mouse, or screen tracking. End-to-end encrypted.

Adaptive

Breaks are suggested based on self-reported fatigue. No notification spam, no toxic gamification.

The dashboard HR sees

Aggregated, anonymized metrics. Designed to present to the board with no intermediate steps.

Benchmark v0.1 based on external literature and preliminary data. Updated with real data once 10+ companies are active.

How it works

Three steps. No installs, no training, no friction for your team.

1

Invite your team

Share a unique company code. No downloads — everything runs in the browser.

2

Each person takes guided breaks

90-second breaks with pre/post energy check-in. Less than 2 minutes a day.

3

HR gets actionable metrics

Dashboard with team FQ, adoption, and comparison against similar companies.

Privacy you can audit

We don't sell data. We don't share it. And we never show information that can identify an individual.

Minimum cohort of 5 people

HR cannot see data from teams with fewer than 5 active people. Smaller teams are still aggregated into the overall average.

TLS 1.3 + AES-256 encryption

Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Role-based access. Audit logs available on request.

No invasive tracking

No keystrokes, mouse, or screen logging. We don't read email, calendar, or messages. Only what you tell us.

Your data is yours

Full CSV export anytime. Complete deletion when the contract ends, no retention.

3 months completely free. From 5 up to 50 people. All we need is an internal "wellbeing champion" willing to spend 1 hour per week.

Or integrate InPause directly into your workspace:

No card. No commitment. From 5 people up.

Frequently asked questions

What we hear most in cold outreach. If your question isn't here, write us.

How much does InPause cost?

The 3-month pilot is free, no card, no commitment. After, flat-band pricing by company size:

  • Up to 10 people → USD 12/mo for the whole company
  • 11-20 people → USD 15/mo for the whole company
  • 21-50 people → USD 49/mo for the whole company
  • 51-100 people → USD 99/mo for the whole company
  • 101-200 people → USD 7.20/person/month (enterprise tier, discount already included)

No variable billing within your band. If you don't continue, you pay nothing and we export your data as CSV.

What makes InPause different from Headspace or Calm?

Headspace and Calm are content libraries — meditation on demand. InPause is a metric plus a short intervention. We give you the Focus Quotient, a 0-100 KPI that measures team attention and can go to your board. Breaks are 60-90 seconds, not 10 minutes. And the app adapts what it shows based on inferred stress level — when someone is exhausted, it hides rankings and competitive elements. Pricing ~50% lower.

Will HR see how each individual person performs?

No. The technical rule is minimum cohort of 5 active people before showing any data. If a team has 3, their FQ is aggregated into the overall average but not reported separately. We don't track keystrokes, mouse, screen, calendar, or Slack/Teams messages. This is written explicitly in the pilot contract.

How is the Focus Quotient calculated?

It's a 0-100 number that combines three components:

  • Self-reported energy (40%): the user picks one of three states (Tired / Neutral / Energetic) at the start and end of the day.
  • Rest quality (35%): ratio of completed breaks over suggested breaks based on workday length.
  • Consistency (25%): percentage of workdays with at least 1 report and 1 break.

The formula is documented with real academic references (Warr 1990 on self-reported wellbeing, Trougakos & Hideg 2009 on cognitive recovery, Headspace Workplace Wellbeing Report 2023). We share the full document on request.

What if my team doesn't use it?

That's the right question — wellbeing apps die in week 2 without an internal champion. The pilot requires you to designate a "wellbeing champion" who spends approximately 1 hour per week keeping the conversation alive: shares the link on Monday, responds to a 2-question mini-survey on Wednesday, and shares a good data point on Friday. We give you a concrete checklist.

If by week 4 adoption is below 40%, we flag it on the biweekly call and adjust together. If it doesn't recover, you can cancel without paying — it's in the contract.

What does team onboarding look like?

Zero installation. It's a web app that runs in any browser. The champion shares a unique company link with the team, each person picks a name and starts. The first real session takes less than 2 minutes, including the initial energy self-report.

Works for remote, hybrid, and in-office. Each user operates in their local timezone and the app suggests breaks based on their work pattern.

What data can I export?

All of yours. Completed breaks, weekly FQ by cohort, adoption, benchmark comparison — exportable to CSV anytime, no permission needed, no process. If you decide not to continue at the end of the pilot, we export automatically and delete personal data within the following 30 days.

Are you GDPR / privacy compliant?

We designed the product with privacy by default: minimum cohort 5, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest, Postgres with Row-Level Security, no invasive tracking. We don't have formal SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification yet (we're early stage). We document the architecture transparently and sign DPA if your legal team asks.

Who are the current pilots?

We're opening 2-3 pilots in this first batch (mid-2026), with companies of 5-200 people in LATAM. If you become one, your illustrated case (without naming the company unless written consent) helps calibrate methodology v0.2.

How do I book a demo?

15 minutes. We show you the product live, the executive panel, and the 1-page contract. If it clicks for you, we schedule the pilot kickoff the following week. If not, no pressure.
